Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Interfaith Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center are all part of the “One Brooklyn Health” umbrella. 

The department of pediatrics at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center is located in the CHC building of the hospital. It has 5 satellite ambulatory clinics located in Brownsville delivering preventive care and caring for well and sick children with 20,000 annual patient visits. We have 15 pediatric sub-specialty services. We have a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and a nationally recognized comprehensive sickle cell program. Our pediatric emergency department treats over 26,000 children annually.

The department of pediatrics at Interfaith Medical Center has a comprehensive ambulatory center at Bishop-Walker Center and is a Medical home for pediatric patients. It also has a comprehensive adolescent, sickle cell and neurology services. The emergency room at Interfaith Medical Center can handle pediatric emergencies and communicates effectively with the in-patient unit at Brookdale for patients needing inpatient care.

Kingsbrook Hospital has a 32-bed skilled nursing pediatric facility, which provides comprehensive and integrative health care to children, ages 3 months to 21 years. This unit is part of Rutland Nursing home and provides sub-acute/short term rehabilitation, long-term placement and respite care.

Established in a long-standing tradition of training the future generations of doctors, our pediatric residency program located at Brookdale Hospital has 36 outstanding residents coming from all over the world.

Additionally, we take pride in teaching and training medical students from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, SABA University, and NYIT who rotate with us every month.
