Natalie Sommerville-Brooks is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. She obtained her Masters of Science: Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Molloy College, Rockville Center, NY. She is a certified genetic counselor for hemoglobinopathies, research coordinator and the coordinator for the pediatric blood transfusion, newborn screening, and ‘Vaccine for Children’ programs.
Natalie annually volunteers care for sick children and adolescents at Double H Ranch; an affiliation of Serious Fun camps located in Lake Luzerne, Albany, NY. She collaborates with community based organizations to increase awareness about sickle cell patients in schools. She is an active member of transition of sickle cell patients to the adult care.
