The Department of Nephrology provides comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic and treatment services to children from infancy to young adulthood. They provide Nephrology consults to the pediatric inpatient unit and have a busy outpatient clinic. The residents optionally rotate in this division for a month in their second or third year. The common conditions treated are:

Nephrotic Syndrome	Hydronephrosis
Acute Nephritis	Renal Tubular Acidosis
Hypertension	Acute Renal Failure
Congenital Renal Anomalies	Endocrine related renal problems
Sickle Cell Nephropathy	Chronic Renal Failure
Voiding disorders
