The Division of Pediatric Neurology at Brookdale offers comprehensive evaluation, consultation and management for diseases of the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems and the musculoskeletal system.

Our team is ready to take care of infants, children and teens with a variety of neurologic problems, including those affecting learning, behavior, communication or movement. We’re committed to providing highly accessible, professional and personalized care for patients and their families.

Our neurology team members are experts in the treatment, diagnosis and management of various pediatric neurological disorders such as but not limited to:

We believe in collaborating with other specialists both within and outside our department. All of our doctors maintain an ongoing dialogue with one another, helping ensure your child gets access to the most advanced, promising therapies available today.

In managing patients, our neurologists work closely with colleagues in different pediatric subspecialities; as developmental & behavioral, child psychiatry, genetics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Critical Care Medicine; as well as in the radiology department. 

Your child will receive care from a team of experts who are well-equipped to manage his or her particular neurologic problem. Also, we appreciate the bond that many kids have with their primary care physician. So whenever possible, we try to treat your child’s condition and then partner with your local doctor for ongoing care.

Teaching and training are essential components of our work. Our division offers medical student clerkships, and post-graduate opportunities for pediatric, neurology and psychiatry residents.
